Q: What inspired you or led you to your current career?
A: I love caring for others and health care is all about caring. It’s such a joy to brighten a patients day.
Q: How long have you lived or worked in Champaign-Urbana?
A: 22 years.
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Champaign-Urbana?
A: Farren’s Pub.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in Champaign-Urbana?
A: My high school soccer coach, Lee Bergfield. He was full of enthusiasm, charisma, encouragement, and love for his team.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
A: Hawaii. I love the landscape and culture. And I’ve always wanted to attend a Luau.
Q: What advice would you give to a crowd of people?
A: Isiah 35:4 “say to those with fearful hearts, ‘Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you’.”
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: Swimming with dolphins and jet ski.
Q: What current/former local business makes you nostalgic about Champaign-Urbana?
A: Curtis Orchard. So many fun memories going there with friends and family.
Q: What is something unique about Champaign-Urbana?
A: University of Illinois. It’s such a diverse campus. And it’s massive. I still get lost time to time.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 or 10 years?
A: I hope to be a NICU or Peds nurse.
Q: (Even for friends and family) what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you ?
A: I enjoy making sushi.
Q: What 3 words or phrases come to mind when you think of the word HOME?
A: Personal style, cozy vibe, and pops of color.
Q: If you have a full time staff member that was fully paid for, who would you choose? Chef, Housekeeper, Driver, Coach, Physical Fitness Trainer, or Nanny?
A: Housekeeper.
Q: Over the past few weeks, where have you seen Champaign-Urbana “Stronger Together”?
A: Social media. People are constantly supporting each other’s during this unknown time. I love seeing people uplift others.
